There’s so much to be said about Promises after Dark being the final book in this amazing series. We are taken on a roller coaster of emotions, pain, heart break, so many emotions. It was another amazing book and I loved every second of it. What an incredible ending to a phenomenal series. As a huge fan of Kahlen Aymes , I say she did it again. I got everything I could want in a final book. I just love the chemistry between Angel and Alex. This series will take you on one crazy ride. Kahlen has a gift for writing about some pretty amazing characters. She is able to keep a great balance with the suspense and romance that keeps you engaged. Her ability to create believable action scenes, characters we care about, and a plot line with twists that will have you asking what on earth could happen next is astounding. It’s so sad that all good things must come to an end, but I couldn't have asked for a better ending. Thank you K… <3 for another amazing book and my Vampire!!! This book is absolute amazing, I high recommend. A must read!

Great finish to the series! The plot developed through the first two and comes together very nicely in this last novel. I did feel it may have been rushed to publication as there were a lot of spelling, grammatical, and structural errors in this one compared to the first one. I also found some of the scenes not quite right; such as when they are riding horses they were riding a stallion and a mare together; but this is something you would have to know as not kosher because you are a horse per...

I did feel it may have been rushed to publication as there were a lot of spelling, grammatical, and structural errors in this one compared to the first one. I also found some of the scenes not quite right; such as when they are riding horses they were riding a stallion and a mare together; but this is something you would have to know as not kosher because you are a horse person. There were some problems in the fight scenes that are more like Hollywood theatrics than true life: again, things a person who knows by having lived in them would only know.

As in the first two in this series, the sex steams off the pages. If you don't have a significant other around while you are reading this then you will need batteries! I highly recommend this entire series as books to read after Shades of Grey.

I gave it the four stars, actually 4.5, because of the grammatical and sever editing errors I found. They do not disrupt the story but are aggravating to read through. The story and the sex scenes are a solid five.
